"I'm just lucky, I guess". That's what you'll hear from her if you ask her how she's survived this long.

Stephanie or Steph Butler was a pretty normal 20 year old girl. She worked in one of the local dinners in her small town just outside Texas and had a loving and quite a big family. It consisted of her parents and 4 siblings evenly split, two brothers and two sisters of which she was the oldest. But everything changed when the dead started to walk again. She had been at the dinner, finishing her shift when reports of more deaths in the area come up on the radio. Her heart had jumped in her chest. It couldn't be her family could it? She had rushed home to find the house empty and that night she cried herself to sleep. She woke up the next morning to a banging at the front door which she had wedged shut. She took her fathers gun from underneath her pillow and went out to investigate.

There they were, her family. Her parents, her siblings...all of them walkers. And she knew what she had to do. She killed them, all of them. It killed her to do it but she managed it and after buried each of their bodies in the garden so they couldn't get pecked at by birds...

Now? Now she's wandering, looking for any survivors and trying to stay alive.
